Fuel gauge

My fuel gauge has started jumping around. At this point Im thinking its the gauge.

Anybody here ever open up the gauge and try to rebuild it?

Any way to test the gauge?

The fuel tank sender appears to be working.....

Got hot going to the gauge... got current going to the sender also.
 
Thanks Chris! I Should have mentioned that I did try and ground the housing also.

I will give that another go.
 
Gas tank ground....

At least I learned how to pull the gauge and sender! Lol!
