Don, 2800CS and 3.0CS should be the same, and the 74/75 that has the larger tank uses the same one. We never got the very early 2800 with the 55L tank.

I'm sure even if someone did not caught the opportunity, has learnt something about that part for the future.

I was not able to find it in current BMW part catalog.
Position was pictured with the instrument cluster but without any information about PN or cross-usage.

Is an easy way to tell, base on the photo if the sender is for CSi or CS than?
