Hi E9ers, I am running new fuel and fuel return lines and have found this protective sleeve.
Does anyone know the correct name and or the part Number.

Thanks

Correct, it is a separate part welded to the floor. I have the dimensions in my build thread.
Although original and with a function (stone protection) it is a real rust trap. It created a partially enclosed space with the floor and front sill end.
Really bad enginering if you ask me.

I'm considering to stick mine on with 3 or 4 strong magnets so I can remove it for cleaning.

Great info fantastic stuff Erik,
By he looks of it i could probably fabricate something similar , although the main feedback from this site and other sources, is that it is more trouble than protection and it is a trap for a build-up of mud and road debris that eventually leads to rust etc. I may go for a different solution.

Thank you all for your input
