Getting ready to put a new mechanical fuel pump on and looking at the parts breakdown, I don't see any gaskets.
The new pump does include a gasket. Are gaskets not required with the insolator?

I think the gaskets are shown on the head diagram.

Usually, the spacer block has gaskets glued to it on both sides as part of the spacer. The one that you have, I would put between the pump and the spacer

Thanks, Rick
Thank you, I see that now in the pics online for the insulator (spacer).

2 gaskets are required, and not included in the baquelite isolator, easy to make in gasket paper
oil spills might come if gaskets are not placed,

I didn't have any thin gasket material so I ordered a new isolator block to do it right.
Thanks for all the feedback.

Never saw an isolator block WITH gaskets, the gaskets come with the pump
That is what I thought also and why I asked. However, looking at the isolator online (pic below) it shows the gaskets. When I removed the old one there was a very thin gasket attached which is much thinner than what comes with the pump. The isolator is around $4 USD.
