Fuse box Door Sheetmetal

Hi Folks,

The metal on my fuse box door is rusted and deteriorated, presumably due to leaks in the windshield frame. I was wondering if you can buy the sheet metal and remove the dash pad, or if it is sold as a single piece. I'm sure I can repair mine and it would look decent after re-flocking, but it would be missing the factory stamping pattern. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

That part is NLA. I suspect is was never sold as separate pieces. Best bet is to find a used one to clean up or have it rebuilt at Just Dashes in CA. Note, there are early and late versions of this door. I am not sure when they changed. Early has a push button release and the late a twist knob.

There is a very nice used one on eBay now for $400. Too rich for my blood. I'll just fix mine.

If the pad looks good I would spend the time to fix it.
