Just posting this for those that may not know this.
I had a problem with the heater fan not turning on.
I was able to access the heater motor easily from the top to test the motor and it worked.
So dove into removing console to get to heater fan sliding switch.
What a pain.
So basically if you heater fan does not want to run. With heater fan slider all the way to the right (full speed) try moving the AC fan switch very slowly from off to full on.
I discovered that the AC switch cuts off the heater fan when it is on.
This is to prevent both fans from running at the same time.
I had a bad AC fan switch and was able to disassemble and clean up and put back and it works fine now. It's a NLA part.
