I was out with friends tonight having wine, and a couple next to our table started talking about cars. The gentlemen said he had a 69 Jag and so my buddy added I had a CS.So I thought for a moment this guy won't know what a CS is from a SL! But than he said a guy a few block over has one of them BMW in his garage not running. As soon as he said that I started thinking what if it is a CSL? The guy has a couple of old Porsche's not running in has driveway so tomorrow I'm going for a little ride to see if I can find out the scoupe on her.

Found the house this morning with 2-911 in driveway one with a tail so he has good taste. The guy last night said it's not running and he express interest to sell so I'm going to stop by at lunch and I'll get the vin if nothing else.

No it's not a CSL but it is a very nice 74 CS with a 3.5 transplant and a really nice guy who owns it!To just show up at someone door and ask about a car is not something that happens everyday and this guy was so willing to show it off!We hit it off like we were friends for a long time and he lives a couple of miles from me:).I'll take some photo's of it when go for a cruise.

I asked if was for sell and he said everything is for sale for the right price? He has owned it since 1998 and said it has 74K on the car and roughly the same on the engine/tranny out a 89 735.He said it rust free but we hear this alot.It did look like the orginal paint and interior was very clean. He had a Recaro in the driver side and said the orginal is in storage. If I were to put a price on it I would say high 20's to low 30's but this is only my take on it.
