if you were in Louisiana, you could vote again ... and probably again - in a different Parish. i grew up in LA ... as Steve has said, you can vote if you are dead. very colorful politics down there.

No, but we had the pleasure of voting for him instead of KKK David Duke. Edwards bumper sticker: Vote For The Crook, It's Important. He is now out of prison.
yes - old edwin, the original silver tongued devil ... or was that silver haired ... i remember when he ran the first go 'round - served 2 terms. and then he ran again. his racketeering and corruption finally caught up to him and the feds got him. he reprised the earl long answer to the question - governor, are you going to be re-elected? the answer was - "absolutely, unless i'm caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
Admittedly he has a very keen sense of humor and is a big component of his charisma and ability to have people look the other way
