Getrag 265/6 conversion on a RHD car: Do I need to change the speedo cable?

IIRC the answer is no. I did the conversion on an Si many years ago. The speedo cable was the least of my worries.

I have also been told no. The speedo drive is in the same place on the 265 as it is on the 4 speed.

I did it this year for my LHD. The speedo drive place is the same; but 8cm more to the back of the car. The 5 gear box is a little bit longer.
The speedo drive cable was long enough.
