I knew you would be first to repsond! Same capacity as the diff oil which I just replaced as well but with hypoid. I use Redline as you do.

According to Steve it is also best to fill the transmission while out of the car, on top of the dining room table.

I am always outside the car when I fill it. I only get on top of the dinning table to dance.

I'm replacing the center bearing and discovered a sticking u-joint so driveshaft is being rebuilt. Actually my mechanic is doing it I must confess.
