It's the end of the long weekend, the end of four straight days of wrenching and sadly I missed my goal of being able to drive the car today. Blame some bad luck, the need to allow my body to heal a little and a friend visiting in his newly restored 66 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Veloce, but I did manage to get the engine to run. I actually tried to drive her at the end of the day but the clutch was not completely bled and I couldn't get the clutch disengaged enough to get it in gear, so I'll have to wait another day or so. I let the engine run enough to warm it sufficiently so that I can finish torquing the head. It needs 35 degrees more torque after having been brought up to temperature for 25 minutes. Once that's done I should be able get the clutch bled, set the timing, and hopefully go for a drive.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
