I am replacing my front window and I am vacillating between Green and Clear. Love to hear the forums responce and why

Mike

When you look at a stash of windshields as a group, they seem too green.
So I just proved by contradiction that your answer is clear windshield.

Imagine the antipode".
all clear throughout and a green windshield?

Are you talking the subtle fully tinted green or the strange looking one from W&N that's clear with the dark green band across? If the former, I vote for green.

Rest of glass is green

Rest of car including rear window are green. Current pitted window is clear

Since the rest are green tinted, that’s what you’d ideally want. As @Stevehose points out, the choice whether to go with or without the darker green ‘banner’ is yours.

The XPELL window tint on all of the glass is a good idea that I have written about before. The visors in the coupe want to sag down from the headliner and I try not to move them ever. The green band is non-stock-looking,but could shade your eyes somewhat when driving into the sun. I prefer to just wear a hat when driving in the early morning. Get the subtle fully tinted green and have all of the glass tinted with XPELL. Your dash will thank you for it!

It is a valid point for locations with high temp and UV exposure to protect as much as possible, so even tint can help a little with it.

If tint help protect the dash, I need to change my vote.
Paradoxically most E9 dashes seem to been great shape while it is rare to find E24s that are not cracked and discolored...
