Hey folks, glad to become part of this amazing community. I know it took a great deal of time and effort to assemble all of this knowledge, so first of all Hats off to all of you for doing such a great job.
Long story short, I'm a die-hard BMW fan who lives/works in between Denmark and Lithuania I've had a variety of BMW cars throughout my existence, recently started to look into keeping more of them as my workshop allows the space. As probably most of you have their dream garages, E9 always has been on the top of my list, but given the price tag, it was a long shot for quite some time. So in the meantime, I bought some cars that I have always wanted (E24, E38) to keep me busy, but kept looking for a good deal on E9. And what do you know, this very last Saturday after numerous considerations and negotiations, this neglected 3.0 CS of 1971 has joined my garage. I look forward to giving it the proper attention and love it deserves to restore it to its former glory. I Will do my best to share the transformation. At the moment I'm still not quite sure at which shape and form, but I have teamed up with a local guy, who has his youtube channel on bodywork, he is quite popular for his skillset and attention to detail (some light work on other cars that he did -

Adding a few photos and will be posting more shortly
