Grey market import stickers engine compartment

This is the first CA import sticker I've seen like this. I usually come across the smaller metal b.a.r. stickers in the engine compartment or door jamb on the grey market cars.

My CSi escaped that when it was imported in 1991.

By 1983 the CARB required more info to be displayed I would imagine, the earlier plates affixed to the B pillar didn’t have to address things live Catalytic Converters.
