Hi Guys,

Has anyone rolled the wheel arches on a CSL? As they have basically two layers (the silver trim + guard) can anyone tell me how they did it? Was it a matter of removing the silver CSL trim rolling the guard and then somehow also rolling the inside of the metal arch trim separately? Can these silver trims be even be rolled?

I know it would be unwise to modify the bodywork on my CSL, so not going to rush out and do it yet, but wanted to understand just how you roll a two layered guard and if it is even possible to do nicely?

(I have some very minor front tyre glancing under spirited driving which I am still trying to solve. - 205,55,16 Yokohamas on front)

Regards

What is the offset on your front wheels? It seems like they 'mostly' fit. You could machine a millimeter off of the hub flange on the wheel. Brendan did this in his 21 spoke alpina reps.

Thanks Markos. My offset is the standard for the 16" Alpinas.
Appreciate your advice as literally 1-2mm would solve my issue. They only glance with extreme cornering or too fast over a speed bump.
