ridiculous comparison... as most have now the 3.5l in it. Or you must want numbers matching.

For a condition 2 car, it's even worse: $45k difference! Maybe it's because the older cars are in worse shape. Maybe it's because the auction numbers are small and the statistics aren't meaningful. Maybe the public incorrectly perceives the 2800 as the stripped cheap version. Maybe it's the 200cc extra displacement and rear discs. After much thought, the real reason has come to me: The 3.0 has more road hugging weight and a lower compression engine (in the US). That has to be it. :-)
