Hey E9 colleauges, I've been wrestling with a bad turn signal relay and miscalibrated turn stalk contact point for about six months now. After finding a new source for an under $200 turn signal relay to fix my non-operational instrument cluster light and faint sound, I'm now fully repaired. The used Hella and BMW parts I tried did not fully solve the problem, even after the repair suggestions on this board (microsanding the contact points).
I did try a three prong modification suggested by Mesa for $11 but that didn't work with my car either
For this part, the photo said WD Express 83506013 001 but what showed up was a Siemens unit with specs seen in the attached photos.
Only a few left here at this price of $95
My car is nearly ready for a Vintage trip in May...very exciting.
