At this time of the year, I sit back and reflect on everything i am thankful for.
My loving wife of 36 years
The health and happiness of my sons and their wives and children.
Being employed in a career I enjoy
The camaraderie of coupe owners I have met and enjoyed time with and those I have spoken with but not yet met.
And my coupe in terrific condition, low on rust (I am sure there is a bit in there somewhere) and ready to run next year!

Happy Thanksgiving to All!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
This time of year has taken on a whole new meaning of thanks for me as my grandson was born last Thanksgiving night 16 weeks premature ( 1 lb. 4 oz. ) with a very small chance of survival. This week, after a long series of trials and tribulations we celebrate the first birthday of a happy and healthy little baby boy. He is truly my little hero.
After that, my kids are doing great, bride of 46 years still puts up with me, the Bav is running great, I can still walk 50 miles in a day, and baseball season is fast approaching.
My son is a Beverly Hills firefighter, and the Hilton caters a dinner for them on Thanksgiving. Each firefighter can bring all his family, so we are going to be living it up in BH for Thanksgiving with no dishes to do...

Well said Stan, great idea Peter and wonderful news for you Mike!! I hope you all don't fall asleep from that turkey too early.

That's great Mike.

My kids got home from college last night so there will be much couping tomorrow during a very sunny crisp day. First my daughter to Starbucks in the am while my son sleeps, then afternoon with him pre-****tail hour while my wife enjoys our kids being back in the house, if only for a couple days.

Cheers to all :p

+1 Likewise Stan, One day we will have to have a grand "forum members" vacation/union--- somewhere/anywhere!

August 2016 Transcontinental road trip!

Thankful that I have been happy and healthy, finally.
Have friends to share my crazy passions with including my wife and partner in crime Cindy, 23 years married, who is a car guy too.
Mario & Chris at VSR in NH, Voit at Autowerkes Maine, Amy, Aaron, Trevor & Forrest at European Auto Service Maine & Billy Revis & family at Motorsport Connections in W-S NC, who all keep me on the road through their expertise and skill with E9s and 2002s.

We always spend Thanksgiving in Santa Barbara with the in-laws. I drove up this morning with our son, wife joins us tomorrow (bummer she has to work!). We took the NK, only 2 1/2 hours, of course we were exceeding the posted limits just a wee bit. ;)

Gorgeous weather here, this afternoon's agenda involves drinking beer at some new breweries downtown, can't get any better than that. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'd see you on the 6th Gary, but I have to work that weekend. :( I was just about to sign up for that drive when I got the bad news.
