Tischer has them for $775. The poster's might be an NOS one hence his asking price.

A word of caution on the new parts from BMW. We in the past year have used 6 of the new BMW front fenders for the E9. ALL have required lots of extra labor to install and make fit. To the extent that we've cut them apart and rewelded sections to get proper body lines. We've had to make templates of original surfaces just to confirm the parts are wrongly made.

The new pieces from BMW weigh less than a NOS CSL front fender! Thinner metal, come in a white primer, unlike every other BMW part.

If you're redoing a stock CS Coupe, the fender in Hartford is most likely a find at $1200.00. Spending 10 hours of cutting and welding, grinding and properly protecting the modified sections on a new fender before you can install it is far more expensive than the proper piece.
