In pulling out part of my dash today (along with completing half of 2 or 3 other e9 projects) I had to remove the hazard switch from its connectors. There are a total of 8 spade connectors (!) and 9 wires. Since I didn't see the info anywhere in a search, and because I'll most likely lose the piece of cardboard I wrote on by the time I reassemble my dash, I thought I'd add the wiring info here. Maybe it will come in handy for someone else sometime.

I crawled under the dash and looking up, lying on my back, the wires were as such:

Starting in the 6 o'clock position (with my switch's orientation, this position starts with a male spade connector marked "30" at the base) and moving clockwise. First color is primary color with second being the stripe or dash.

1. Double (two wires) Red and White
2. Green and White
3. Blue and Red
4. Green and Yellow
5. Green and Purple
6. Gray and Blue
7. Blue and Black
8. *This is the connector in the center of the switch* Brown

The car is a US 1973 3.0 CS.
