Header resonance

I get a pretty decent metallic sound inside the car with my IE headers at 3K RPM. Is this just the sound that headers make, given the thin walls?

The sound out the pipe is pretty nice, not too loud and volume is consistent at all revs. For background, from the headers it goes into a small magnaflow, then a larger magnaflow out back. These are can shaped glass packs.

Perhaps adding a resonator would help? Or is this just the sound of headers, in which case I'll switch to B35 manifolds.

Have you asked Mr. Ireland? Crusty fellow, by reputation, I am not acquainted.
You don't say what sound you want, is the current setup too loud, metallic, or other?
