Does anyone recognize these pipes? They came up on da'bay. The gent lives in Irvine. Alleged to have come off of a '74 CS. He also has a weber set, side draft, with intake. Not sure if I should bite on these, although would be happy to forward.

Those look a lot like mine. I originally thought (and was hoping ) they were Alpina headers, but Alpina confirmed they re not theirs last week. I sent them out to be ceramic coated friday. Looking forward to the answer to your question.

Well....The mystery deepens. Thanks for your input as now we know for sure these are not a "one-off" deal. All I can say for sure is that the tubes are 1 3/8'' Definitely not Stahl, I have seen these. Some of the csi's came with headers it seems....if I knew I wouldn't be asking!
Hoping for one of our experts to help....

Hartage? Schnitzer? GS? Who else did tuner versions of the CS/CSi/CSL and are they still around to ask for ID help? Maybe back issues of the Roundel?

What are these headers?

Three things they are NOT: Stahl, Headercraft or Supersprint.

I agree

I do not think they are the Hartge either, as I have seen these as well. Perhaps our boys on the other side of the pond will know? Let's see....one set in my home country and another in SoCal....interesting. I have purchased these just on account of and will do the restoration as well, ceramic coat as nicad is in the process of doing. Keep me informed my friend in Toronto....cool stuff.

Header ID

I posted the header photos on the 2002faq forum and other possibilities suggested would be Ansa or Pacesetter based on the flange design.

Ansa from the looks of the Y collectors, I did see a set of E23 E24 Alpina headers on Ebay last week super nice, someone should remake those...
