headlight switch removal

Hello everyone,

I am trying to remove the headlight switch on my 3.0cs with no luck. Could anyone help me with figuring out how to remove it? Regards,

unscrew the knob
then the slotted inser
t pull out the switch hold it w/
vicegrips turn out the knob

after unscrewing the know, i have used a pair of snap ring pliers with reasonable success.
