Heater/AC Control Panel

While removing my dash, I noticed that my heater/AC control panel had been broken and repaired (never looked quite right).

Does anyone have a line on a nice replacement for a 72 E9?

I have an unmolested one. But they're expensive, sorry... $400 with switches.

That's 2 separate pieces - is it the ac piece or the heater/ vent piece?

It's the "slide switch" cover with the 2 vents below it.

I saw an early one yesterday at a local shop - it's the 2800 version.

That's the one with the arrows instead of the Hot/ Cold, On/Off marking right? I also noticed that the later ones came in two version, one illuminated and one not.

Mine has a tiny bulb on each side, thought all panels had them, you are saying some don't?

Nope- I only mentioned that I knew a shop selling an early facia.
I have none for sale.

Just to be clear. In all, there should be at least 5 versions. 2800, early 3.0 in English and German without the lighting holders) and late 3.0 in English and German with the light holder and the holding tabs molded into the bezel itself)... Of course the lighted versions had to have a different wiring harness too.
