Heater Blower Hose Mystery- Walloch suggests we need but where does it go?

We have installed a new heater blower unit (thank you DQuincy) and Wall suggests we need two hoses - (see picture enclosed) - however when we look at the heater blower unit - no downward hose hole exists - just a white grommet - was there a change in design? Is Wall wrong on this - do we have a non-standard heater blower in some way - if anyone can shed some light that would be much appreciated.

that hose belongs to the waterbox in the engine compartment, there are two of them to evacuate the water that eventually falls into the mentioned water box,
it has nothing to do with the heater
