heater for coupe

complete heater set for e3, e9,.... was sold today in ebay

sold in ebay today, at 693 euro

if someone is in need of a heater, I know a good source

i bought this NLA, NOS heater from him six months ago for less than that

original BEHR, new in the box, NOS, fantastic complete heater box including handles, motor, fan, reostat, radiator heater,...

Was this 693 euro the NOS in the box or was it a used heater? I've got an old assembly laying around, I had no idea it was worth so much!
 
I would think the need for a complete heater box assembly is extremely low. Why would you need the whole assembly? Do they crack or otherwise go bad; besides the heater core? The core remains available.

probably you are right, but, considering that the core costs 230euro + the reostat 100euro + the main fan 200euro, the sum of those parts is 530euro

(for sure your interior flaps and swivel parts will be in bad or very bad condition, i mean the internal sound insulation, the mechanisms,...)

for another 100 you get a complete new replacement including brand new carcass (no cracks), all mechanisms, flaps, and so on

for me is worth the price, but, others may prefer to buy a set of +2" new rims, fancy steering wheels, tinted glasses, ...:lol: is a question of what you consider important in a certain moment

I could have used this a few months ago but thanks to bwana and a few others I was able to source everything I needed plus a new core. If you decide to part it out because no one needs the whole thing, I'll take the face plate.

not sure if you are talking to me or to bwana...but:

i do not sell my NOS heater, i bought it for my car, thus i am not parting it out.

i am only saying that if anyone needs a NOS heater i can help with the deal
