Has anybody purchased a new heater motor from BMW? There are none is US. Is it still available in Europe?

Has anybody found a source fro the brush holder?. This is what went bad on mine.

I was on the lookout about a year ago and couldn't find one. Double '02 salvage in Hayward had a quiet used one. I lubed the bearings, swapped it, and it's been a year of heat since.
 
Double 02 gets 200.00 used.

ECS is 245.00 brand new as of 2 weeks ago.

Takes a couple of weeks to arrive.

How about $215.00 shipped brand new Bosch motors, have within 5-6 days

I can get these for anyone who needs one.

Does not come with the fan blades but easy to press off the old motor and press onto the new one.

The answer

to the second question is a brush holder from an circa 86 VW GTI. Search for heater repair since a member has done it with photos.
