First of all thank you for this great Forum. I have been reading in silence and it helped in my quest for the right coupe.
I am a belgian car designer working for a german group , i have just moved back to germany after working in Italy and Spain.
I have some other oldtimers an d wanted an elegant 70s coupe to complement my wilder cars
My name betrays the fact that i had decided to buy a 2800 CS from sicily... But it turned out to be more "lightweight" than a CSL.
After seeing so many cars, i finally found one in the process ( '72 midnight blue/tan 3.0 CS that has been injected) of being restored which allowed me to control the work.
I am waiting for the finalization , a couple of weeks now.
I will update soon with photos.
In the meantime i have been getting the necessary 16 staggered Alpinas, the 380 Petri ( thanks to Dan , the Coupe Guy)
I am planing to bring it back to carbs after the summer.
So to make a long story short thank you for this great forum.
Best regards
Luc
