Hello E9ers,

I've just joined this E9 forum. After a lot of searchig, I think that this is the best E9 info resource I can find. I live in Spain, and tech advice in local forums is limited, and, as I speak a bit of English, I'll hopefully get some help here.

Me and my brother are getting our father's 3.0 csi back on the road. After covering the basics, as brakes, exhaust and so on, we've found out that fuelling and ignition issues can be a pain in the neck when it comes to D-Jet'd cars. I'll soon open a new thread requesting extra info and help, and I may can use my knowledge to provide some help here as well.

Oh, and thanks to Dan for working out my account activation.

Glad to see another coupe coming out of storage. Click the CS Registry above and register your coupe! What part of Spain? I spent a week in Malaga last year driving a 3 cyl Fiat deisel. I would have greatly preferred my CS.

Well, I'm from northern Spain. This shares nothing with Malaga or even the rest of the country. Atlantic weather and green mountains are the rule here.

With regards to registering, I think that I'll wait until I have some decent photos to do it properly. ;)

Hey deQuincey,

Nice to see a "local" in here. Great E9!, I'd say it's a carburetted 2800 or 3.0. Pity not a fuel injected :mrgreen:. Seriously, the photo is fantastic, could be out of a period brochure.
