Hey everyone,
I used to have a Polaris '72 CS which I enjoyed for about 8 years.
While I no longer have it, I am a mechanic and am happy to share my knowledge on the forum.
I also have a few odd parts left in my garage that I will post in the classified section.
The most ambitious project I ever undertook was a complete rewire of a customer's 72 CS that had melted the wiring harness in various places due to a failed dimmer switch shorting to ground on the steering column.
All that was available was a second hand harness which required some repairs before it could be used.
I was much younger then...what a job.
Cheers,
Al
