Hi I am Rob in southern California. I have just received my first E9 and I am looking for guidance. It is a 1970 2800CS. Original mostly with 70k on it. Very little rust and runs well.

I was supposed to sell this car, but now I am not so sure! it is really cool!

Tell me what you think of the car. It has the 4 speed, and I am putting the original

Yes, really cool. Keep it. Others on this board on the west coast will pop up in few minutes. Don't do anything until you hear from them. From the pics it is a beauty and a keeper. Can't wait to see more photos. Steve

Rob, there's lots of So Cal guys with coupes who frequent this website. Myself included. I just purchased a 1973 3.0 CS. They are wonderful vehicles. Let us know if you need any assistance. Everyone is very helpful here. Welcome to E9 ownership...enjoy!

I am enjoying it so far. Hope the wife doesnt make me sell it! I will need to get some widdow felts I think anda left side driver door armrest Cap. Who has that kind of stuff?

Robert , if your biggest issues are some "widdow felts " and armrest cap then you're a very lucky man ....suggest you go window shopping at Walloth &Nesch initially to get an idea of what's available . Cheers, Simon

PS ....and yes, E9's cost considerably less to run than a wife so easy choice :)

Robert, put up a WTB message on this site, e9, just below cars for sale. And check quick links.
Love to see more photos and any history.

I have a 2800 also and LOVE it.

These cars are getting VERY rare and hard to find. If you have a good one you should hang onto it. It's sort of tough to buy a modern car that appreciates that you can drive all over the place - and in style to boot.

I think jaymic in the UK can sell you the top portion of the armrest, the part that always cracks.

enjoy the car!
