Hi, guys. Last month, I acquired my '73 CSi and wanted to make an introduction after a couple of random posts and a lot of lurking and learning.

She's on the registry now (http://www.e9-driven.com/RegistryView.asp?RID=3765).

And the restoration/modification dilemma has begun. It's been great having this forum and its members as a resource, and I look forward to providing updates.

These cars drive so well in stock form (for their age), that I would try to keep it stock. Things like fresh motor mounts, new guibo, etc made a world of difference with my car. Other than 16 inch wheels, mine is stock. The wheels/tires did make a big difference, though.

Enjoy it. Be prepared for lots of questions wherever you go. People love these cars and generally have no idea what they are.

Yes, welcome. I am a new owner too. Mine just got picked up by the transport truck yesterday, so hopefully it will be home with me early next week.
