I have the reproduction Alpina plenum and air horns
My manifold is not the Alpina repo but measures out exactly the same
Triple 45 DCOEs
I have a lot of time and money in this set up and would like to use it of course

Before getting this far I ask and several people assured me that it would fit with the stock brake booster

Today the motor was installed
The one air horn comes very close to the booster, too close, maybe an 1/8 of an inch at the most

I don’t want to go to a different booster if I don’t have to, that is going to foul up all the new brake tube work

What other solutions are there?
Is it possible to shim the left-hand motor mount a small amount, maybe .25 inch?
Is there a shorter intake manifold?
Has anyone had manifolds shortened?

For an interim, or if this doesn’t work out, what is the best set up for foam filters?

Thanks
