These bolt to the bottom of the Aluminum intake manifold on zenith factory carbs. Our car is a 1970 2800cs.

Part numbers are 11611250693 and 11611257490.

Engine coolant flows thru these to warm the intake manifold.

My nozzles are badly corroded and not sure they can be fixed. Parts are no longer available.

I've posted a want to buy thread on the parts forum, but if cant not find good used ones, anyone have ideas on how to fix these?

The nozzle protrusions are badly corroded. We have thought about filling the pits with JB high temp weld epoxy or similar and sanding smooth. But the wall thickness on a couple are very thin.

Your best bet is used manifolds with these still attached. Every time I attempted to remove these the bolts snapped off. I have used JBWeld on items like these as well.

I have 2 intake manifold in good condition where do you live in US or in Europe I can send it to you if you didn't fined it yet

I had this issue on the CS. I have a NOS one yet to fit. Used to warm the carbs. I've seen them bypassed in warmer areas.
I restored mine by putting a sleeve into the corroded end. Used a section of copper water pipe with a flange and then sealed it and used a mechanical fastener for good measure.
Been running with it two years no leaks. Will swap out next time I do major engine works.

we have thought about some form of sleeving if we cannot not get replacements. Good to know it works.

Thanks

Those parts were also on the 3.0CS. I have a set that look better than the ones you have. Will get pictures up soon.

Unfortunately the JB weld does not do well with the heat from powder coating, I read that this fellow is going to powder coat them Sleeve it with some thin wall stainless steel tubing, use a product called Labmetal It is for use with PC sands well and is very hard I have repaired a number of corroded parts this way and once they are PC'ed , hard to tell where the repair is

Thanks, Rick

JB Weld best option. Additionally a sleeve, but in Aluminium with JB weld if you think its required.
Copper on Ali is not a good idea as it will corrode through electrolysis, so I would avoid a sleeve as suggested above (sorry Wes). Add in a little water and you've got a battery so to speak.

I see in your other thread that bmwski has parts for you and his look better than mine. So, I'm going to stand down.
