I have 2 temp gauges that show too cold when the engine is at normal operating temp.
The needle is at 4.30 (o´clock) instead of at 3 o´clock.
Temp is right (80 degrees with my thermostat) up at the coolant hoses/engine front/radiator.
I suspect either a fall in resistance in the wiring or an instrument that needs adjustment.
