Which break booster I have to use to clear the trumpet area for my 45 Webber carburetors

Hello,

I think the unit you are referring to is the Tii booster which is a common swap for the triple conversion other than an aftermarket 'newer system' like a Tilton.

... or one can do what Alpina did on their early 2800 racers: angle or notch the trumpet.

I think the early 2800cs boosters were a different shape than later years. Maybe more knowledgeable ones here can expand on the booster differences thru the E9 production run.

On my car I had to use 2002tii double diaphragm booster bot I had to cut the bracket shorter you have to take the pedal box out to cut it short as much as you can that the booster close to the fire wall then you can have 60mm trompet on your weber

those are very good product I buy mine from this guys for two of my car now I have to buy for my 3rd one I will buy from them
it is the best to buy do not look any where this is what you need, on one of my E9 I had E46 engine monster and this power booster works great on it.

The 2800 booster differs from the later booster only in width. The tii booster is a smaller diameter booster.

I have a tii booster in my car. Initially, I had a set of 60mm horns (pictured here without the wire mesh screens).

I subsequently changed to a set of knock off Alfa GTA curves horns.

Hi Shanon - Fuel rail was a custom item that the seller of my carb setup had made. He was changing over to fuel injection, and I bought the intake manifold, tstat housing, carbs, fuel rail and a couple of other things from him.
