I'm getting ready to sell front and rear bumpers off of a '73 coupe and wanted to know if the two holes on the bumper are factory? The two larger holes shown on the bottom surface (bumper is upside down in photo) were added for some crappy fog lights back in the day, but I'm not sure about the smaller holes located closer to the bumperettes. They look factory but I'm not sure. I need to check to see if the chrome plating extents into the holes.

Any ideas? I want to describe the bumpers as accurately as possible when they go up for sale.

Dan, the holes on your front bumper underside are stock. Here is the bottom of my NOS center bumper. The holes are in the same position.

Maybe they used them for license plate mounting brackets? I don't know, I've never seen anyone use them.

Believe the bottom holes are for drainage purposes. They are situated way too close to the body to mount anything on. The standard top factory fog lights mounting holes are about twice the diameter as the bottom holes.
