Just purchased this head at 'too good to pass' deal and need help with identifying what I have.
Part/Carting # is: 1304473 with a Date Code that appears to be: 7/82.
I think it may be an M90 head, as it seems to have the extra water hole between cylinders.

Any info appreciated,,, is this an M90 head? What could it be from? What is the best block for using this head with?
I've got a '74 3.0cs with its original but non-functioning engine and I'm investigating best course of action for it.
I also have triple Webers and Stahl headers for this project.

Thanks in advance!

Either a 1982 M90 head or a head that has been drilled to work with a M90 block.

It would help if you showed all the sides…

With those temp telltales from the machine shop and the fact that there are no dimple castings-
You need to measure the head thickness before installing.

You may need a slotted cam gear.
