I am just finishing off the plumbing to the engine and have hit a brick wall trying to work out the last bit.
I have looked at all my old phots and can’t work anything out and also looked at the workshop manual and that does not help.
I enclose a drawing what I think could be the correct way to plumb in the piping …
The bits I can’t connect are.
  • The exit from the cold start valve –
  • The input to the underside of the throttle switch
  • Output to the underside of the throttle switch
  • A small connection to the side of the block

I have made a drawing showing what I think may be the correct sequence – would anyone be able to tell me if that is right, and if it is right how the hell do the pipes run…
Thanks again - im becoming a bit of a pest asking questions!

The two Special hoses are available at Walloth

Yes, your proposed plumbing looks correct all round. On routing, the hose from 1 to 2 comes up between the two stub inlet manifolds. And the hose from 3 to 4 goes around the rear of the manifold, under the oil pressure sender/switch
