I need help from a few members who can verify that the listing I had for Parts Need Gone showed the Power Mirror missing the mirror glass.
Last night I removed the photos of the parts that were sold and I need to confirm that the mirror was missing. There was an right arrow on the row of parts and the person did. Not scroll to see the entire row.
Thanks

Hi Chris. I took out all the photos of items SOLD. These photos are from my album and they are the ones I used in my tread.
Thanks for your respect.

According to this thread you listed the mirror as “like new”, and posted a picture of it glass down.

Those are the flag mirrors though.

Got it.

@Koopman,

I’m not sure if it is the same mirror or not. You purchased the mirror without the glass from @bossrobot for $40.

Getting back to Feb. 9th with an issue about a mirror I sold. First of all I had three chrome elec. mirrors so I'm not sure if that was the one I purchased on the forum. As far as the mirror being placed front down there was another photo next to the one shown with an arrow pointing to the right that showed the missing glass.
In the mean time if I remember correctly I swapped a part with the seller. Being on the Staff you should be able to find the photo that I am talking about and show it on the Forum. This reminds me of the New Condo I purchased in 2005 after my heart attack. The HOA would walk around the whole development looking for issues so they could send a Letter and including the amount of the fine imposed on the owner. I remember the time a little boy threw a base ball that hit my garage door and I had to replace the door because of a small dent that could barely be seen. I'm sure there must be hundreds of issues if someone wants to search the listings..

@Koopman,

It is not the responsibility (or interest) of the volunteer staff to locate your misplaced photos or wade through your countless FS ads. This site is in no way like an HOA, and nobody is out to get you. Just like you, I have mailed something to 50% of the active forum, but it was never a demand letter.

We all forgot about your mirrorless mirror sale, but you chose to bump the thread. Everyone else has moved on.

This is not an attack. While I personally expect a dramatic farewell response that will ultimately get walked back, you may elect to do and say nothing. The forum will continue to serve your needs and the needs of your clients and peers.

I think it would not have been so bad if you had sent that message to me instead of the complete forum members. Very hard to take for me.
Have a great day.
