I watched "Herbie Goes to Monoco" on the cable the other night. CSL and a 2002, both modified, in the cast. Film circa. 1977. I am sure I am being redundant, but this was a first time viewing for me. For a boomer, a lot of desirable cars were in the cast as well.
Not a dry eye in the house. Go Herbie !

Funny you should mention "Herbie".I just watched "Herbie Rides Again" and altho I didn't spot any coupes there are a bunch of period cars in the racing scenes.Actually thought of buying a copy just to watch it in slow mo.

"Herbie Goes Bananas" was pretty lame, no racing at all. 4 wheel steer on the bug was the only mentionable
