I think he's back on ebay, schemmelpfeng I believe is now bmw-interiors, where before he was bmw-interieurs or some such. Selling the same stuff like armrest caps. Not a personal vendetta, just thought everyone should know and be warned. Surprising how easy it is to fool eBay, even after having four or more accounts terminated.

I had a conversation with email to bmw-interior a few days ago.
This user is not Schimmelpfeng itself, he let do his (dirty ?) job from somebody else, in commission.
This could be the reason why he fooled Ebay......
The guy who offered the parts now did not know the half of the things his "master" made before on ebay.....he said
You can believe it or not...... :?

But his shipping-prices are expensive as before.
For this Item http://cgi.ebay.at/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=96363&item=260200603771
he wanted 18€ for shipping from Germany to Austria !
This impertinent price was the account for that i realised, after i reread the description, this is Schimmelpfeng!

Part of the description is :
Firma Peter Schimmelpfeng, Alte Teisingerstr 29 , 84494 Neumarkt St. Veit , FAX : 08639 985484. E-Mail : [email protected]

Watch out for this crook

A year ago I bought the interior roofliner chrome, which is an odd part. It was on Ebay and I won it at about 100 euro. Seller was Schimmelpfeng. I never received the part (4 halves). I e-mailed him and he insisted he never received the money. I have my bank´s monthly statement proving my payment. He since has not replied to my questions. I saw this rare part on sale at E-bay later on with the same photograph. I can´t remember if he had changed his ID by then.
Last week I won a small and not very odd part with BMW Interieur as seller. He promptly required me to pay 18 Euro for shipping it to outside Munich!!!! The part is the size of a pack of cigarrettes!!
He hasn´t responded to my question about cheaper shipment. Perhaps he remembers last year´s issue with the chrome and that he owes me over USD 160.
The guy is a criminal and we should get together and prosecute him.

Problems with another parts supplier

In early September I bought a number of second hand parts from Ben Miller in Pasadena. CSiL or whatever he calls himself. I returned some of the parts (which in general were of very poor quality and extremely expensive, just as the shipment). I have never been credited or heard from him in reply to my quetions.
What is your opinion of him in the US???

Similar experience with CSi (Ben) wont deal with him again.

Just a note, all of his 2002 parts are now sourced through 2002AD and it appears they share the same address.

Ben miller purchased 2002AD so now 2002AD and CSi are one in the same. Similar experiences over the last 15 years myself, finally gave up selling him parts due to bad checks, etc. Best option is dispute the charge on your credit card, they will charge him back and unless he produces some proof of delivery of the parts you will get the credit. At least my CC company will do that for me.

Mixed experiences here. Purchased rear bumper that wasn't delivered as advertised. He wouldn't take it back without a re-stocking fee, but I have received small items that were fine. I can't say I recommend him 100%, but I do know other people who've had success with his parts.
