Hilton Head Motoring Festival last weekend

A number of coupe owners attended this event last weekend.
Not all of us had coupes at the show.
I had my 88M5 and George Whiteley had his red 850CSI.

Saturday is the Jamboree. Basically a Cars & Coffee and judged by your peers and attendees.

Don & Julie Bower of Athens, GA won best of their class which was Friends of the Showcase which consisted of many makes. Baikal Coupe.

George Whiteley was invited to bring his 850CSI to a special show at a nearby hanger. BMW's the same decades as the planes were on display.

Amy Lester had her coupe in the Judged Concours on Sunday and won her class. Sorry I was not there when those awards were given out. Sorry Amy.

The 328 & 507 belong to friend Dirk de Groen (owns a coupe) and they won their class on Saturday as well.
The 503 belongs to Lothar Schuettler and he restored this car himself and also owns a Black 328 that has been around for 5 years or more.

Hilton Head is a very nice venue where car owners are treated very well. We had excellent weather this year.
We also rented a house with Don & Julie Bowers, George & Sue Whiteley and Gary Beck and Mary Shea. We had a great time.

For the record, the lovely Polaris 1600GT belongs to Elliott Schnackenberg.

Lothar also has a gorgeous polaris coupe. i tried to talk him into selling it earlier this year ... wasn't willing to part with it.
