So, I am still on the fence on using either a Bosch antennae I have or this Hirschmann. I was all ready to go with the Bosch and then I found this. It works great, we put in the new white plastic gear, hooked it up to a battery and works perfect. However, something is not right. I have all the attachments to plug right in to my Blaupunkt but I think I am missing some sort of finish washers/nuts/chrome piece that would cover the rubber seal on top of the fender. Does anyone have this model on their coupe or E3?

I am guessing this came from a coupe because the brass bracket (see pics) does not quite fit right inside the fender. That is not a major concern, as I can make a custom bracket to fit onto this bracket. But I am concerned about the finish above the fender. The rubber gasket fits good and fits over the antennae but I still feel like I am missing a nice finish piece that would fit over the gasket. From the ones I have seen, they look like they have a nice chrome piece that bolts on over it. But none of them were automatic that I was able to look at in person (I don't think they were). Thanks for any help. I will also need to purchase the piece if anyone has one or knows of someone that has one. Once I know what I need, I can start looking.
