In recognition of the Hofmeister kink’s 60th birthday BMW has found roads that have turns that resemble the kink and put them into a map app.
Now you can “drive your Hofmeister Kink”. There are a couple near Monterrey for you folks heading to Legends West.

In recognition of the Hofmeister kink’s 60th birthday BMW has found roads that have turns that resemble the kink and put them into a map app.

I chose the 2800CS model on the website. It says it was manufactured from 1968 - 1975! This should make all the 2800 owners feel like they're getting the love they deserve.

Right. Should be “2800/3.0CS”. They couldn’t find a photo of a 3200CS?

3200CS and 1500 debuted at same time so both get credit for the kink!

I saw an Iso Rivolta at Laguna Seca, that car wears the Kink beautifully.

Bertone did that car, as well as the 3200CS at around the same time, and had the Hofmesiter kink not become a huge part of BMW design thereafter, I suspect we may think of it as a Bertone design feature. Bertone used out beloved kink in several cars. In addition to the 3200CS Bertone and the Iso Rivolta:
