The hood grilles on my E3 are pealing off in a few places so I've decided to remove all the plating and paint them. They look like chrome but I wanted to make sure they weren't aluminum (vapour deposition).

I'll try that. Thanks. I'm assuming they're chrome but most of the newer cars are aluminum.
None of the grilles are aluminum.
