For those who don't know about the hood liners made by Classic 9 Leather check their website out. Instead of the crappy foam used by BMW, these are made of vinyl nitrate. They can be had with or without a logo and for $95 shipped it will add to the car . [email protected]

Google that sight. 3 or 4 lines down you will see classic 9 leather ebay store. You will find them there as you scroll down. Maybe the site isn't totally up to date, but they are there.

I found it on the link you posted.
Thank you
Cheers!

I'll chime in. Rob Budd, the owner of Classic 9 Leather is a friend of mine, and he did the re-upholstery on the OE seats for my '74. I have one of his hood liners, and when Ohmess saw it, he stated that it looked much better than the BMW one on his hood. Very good quality foam. I do not have the logo on my liner.

Although he does not remember, Rob made one from scratch for me for my Bavaria. I cut the templates and sent them to him. I love the thing and it will stand up to anything.....and never need to be changed.

I got a Mercedes 107 SL class hood pad for $50 and cut to fit my E9 two years ago
