Hotel for The Vintage

Hi All,

I was wondering if any Vintage Visitors have a recommendation for a hotel reservation at this years Vintage meet in Asheville? I normally have a room at the Clarion but was a bit slow to react this year. As such,I wound up 6th on the wait list for a room. As the event nears, and my concerns for decent lodging grows, I’m wondering if there are any recommendations for alternate (and perhaps a bit nicer) accommodations floating around. If so, please pm me your suggestions.

There's a few within walking distance, I think a Hilton Garden Inn is closest

There will be Clarion cancellations, if you're a gambling man. But you drive an old BMW, so I guess that's obvious.

It's not that "close" to the event, but if I was going up there, I'd find something cool in town... the Park Grove Inn is always nice, there's also a few decent places that have opened up in recent years in the downtown like the Windsor, also some handsome romantic inns like the Albemarle.
