i have located 2 scheel bucket seats, been stored away for a very long time. the seats are beyond repair, due to mother nature and mice etc. the only 2 parts that are ok and can be saved are the headrests. the problem is i don't know how to release them from the frame. the seller and my mechanic have tried to find a release screw, of some kind, no luck..yet. the headrests seem to be part of the seat frame. All advice appreciated

pull/oil/pull/oil

The headrest posts can rust to the seat frame if not moved or lubed regularly. Just like most all of our headrests. Take some penetrating oil and squirt down the posts and let sit. Then come back and whack it up/down to break it loose. Good luck and be patient.
