I am going through everything for my rebuild.
I got to the bearings that are mounted to the metal plate that the window glass is attached to.
There is a cir clip and I removed that and pulled pretty hard but does not want to come off shaft.
Ideas?
What is in here?

Those are pressed on i think
there is actually no real reason to remove them.
id sand them down a bit and regrease.
they will be fine forever
thats what i did to mine.
if you must just pry underneath with a brake spoon or something
or pound a wedge there like needle nose pliers.

You can't remove them at all without damaging. The good news are like aearch wrote - you don't have to remove them.
The only thing you have to do is to remove marked nylon/plastic cylinder type cap (pry gentle with something like needle) - inside you will see metal ball that is connected with other side of the window mount, regrease it and that's all, you are good to go.
Never heat that parts as nylon/plastic inner spacer plate under metal ball will melt and ball will not work stiff any more.

Thanks,
I got the clip out but did not try to remove the white nylon cover? Will try again.

spray motorcycle chain lube is great for this sort of lubrication job, sprays as a thin oil, sets as a grease, use loads of it to lube bearings, it gets right inside, Pat

I have been on this road. amazing DeQuincey was able to remove them. search his excellent thread for more detail. In my car however even using a bearing puller didn't cut it.
The bearing on the left window system was moving quite freely, on the other side however it had a lot of friction.
I just cleaned and regreased leaving the bearing in place.

In one of my mechanisms (i used to have) i also removed that bearing (was little bit rusted). But m5bb mechanism look like in good shape, so really there is no need to do that.
